Nigerian President; Mohammadu Buhari, Friday, ordered the EFCC to probe former
Chief of Defence Staff, Chiefs of Air Staff, and thirty six others over
corruption in military procurements. A statement by the Senior President’s Special Assistant on Media and Publicity,
Garba Shehu, this directive by President Muhammadu Buhari follows the
recommendation of the committee established to audit the procurement of
arms and equipment in the armed forces and defence sector from 2007 to
2015.
