The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP), Mr Olisa Metuh, has been arraigned again on a two-count
charge for criminal destruction of evidence and property of the Economic
and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Mr Metuh was brought in handcuffs from the Kuje prison where he is
being remanded, pending the fulfillment of his bail conditions.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges which attracts a maximum of two years jail term.
The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Ishaq Bello, who
is presiding over the case has adjourned till January 25 for hearing of
Mr Metuh’s bail application.
